Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are recommended. If you have your heart set on a specific day or a larger piece, booking ahead is the safest bet — but if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by the shop during open hours and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
The easiest way to get started is through the booking form. Tell us about your idea, where on your body you’d like it, and any preferred days or times — you can upload reference photos, too. Jen will get back to you to talk through the design and get you on the schedule. You can also call the shop at (401) 324-5168.
The shop minimum is $100. Every tattoo is custom quoted based on size, complexity, and placement. Larger tattoos and multi-session pieces are priced hourly at $200/hr, with a two-hour minimum.
Keep it simple: hydrate your body and skin in the days leading up to your appointment, and eat a solid meal beforehand. Well-hydrated skin takes ink better, and a full stomach helps you sit comfortably through your session.
Yes, with a few exceptions — let’s talk about it. Every existing tattoo is different, so the best first step is to send a photo through the booking form and tell us what you have in mind, whether that’s a cover-up, a rework, or new work around an existing piece.

Rocky Shores Tattoo Company is at 554 West Main Rd, Middletown, RI 02842 — on Aquidneck Island, two miles north of Newport. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday, 12–8 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday.
